Background and Experience Profile

Romeo J Francisco is a certified public accountant in California and in the Philippines.  He holds a Masters in Accountancy degree from the California State University, Sacramento, with concentration in  International  Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).   He also holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the Far Eastern University, Manila, Philippines, with concentration in accounting, where he graduated Cum Laude.  Romeo J Francisco has over twenty-five years of public accounting experience in audit, review and compilation of financial statements, preparation of individual and business income tax returns, and performance of accounting services in the private sector, government and not-for-profit entities. 

Romeo J Francisco worked with different CPA firms in California and the Philippines before he became self-employed.  His experience in audit, review and compilation of financial statements are in the industries of manufacturing, technology, telephony, financing, not-for-profit organizations and different employee benefit plans.

Romeo J Francisco was a former partner in an H&R Block franchise for several years.  His years of experience in tax practice involves the preparation and electronic filing of individual and business tax returns, and representing taxpayers before the Internal Revenue Service and state and local tax authorities.  He is also a Certifying Agent of the Internal Revenue Service, authorized to issue tax identification numbers to individuals and businesses.

Romeo J Francisco also served as a fiscal officer of a Federal Program under the United States Department of Agriculture and also served as accountant in various private companies.
